Too often at the moment, agencies deliver fragments of what the client sees as one service and too often, as a result, clients are bombarded with services which are anything but joined up. There are examples of disadvantaged households receiving ‘support’ often very similar in nature from 6 or 7 agencies who are working in isolation with staff unaware that colleagues from another agency are working with the same family and failing to exchange knowledge and data effectively.
