The new Murieston Medical Practice build is finally underway. Let’s hope we get a mild winter and not too much ground frost.
Update December 2015
The new build is emerging despite the appalling weather the building team have had to contend with. A drive past will show just how much progress has been made. The core early work is complete – with the drainage, foundations, under floor heating and floor work all completed. Work is now being made on the timber frame kit in the practice section and it is anticipated this will be erected and secure by the time the site closes for their Christmas break on 23rd December.
There is a small delay in the anticipated completion date but we are currently still on track for a Spring entry date.
Please be aware of site safety and ensure children are kept safe. We do have a number of different construction vehicles coming onto the site and some children, and adults, have been very interested in these. The building company does not have the capacity, due to health and safety regulations, to allow access to these vehicles so please do not enter the site to ask. The practice asks that you keep safe and do not enter the site under any circumstances.
We are aware that there are some challenges with regard access to our car park when lorries and construction vehicles need access and we thank you for your continued patience.
