Murieston Village is very fortunate to have some key services in close proximity. Within a short walking distance from the Murieston Village Hall:

Although Murieston Initiative receives no financial gain from these organisations, we consider all of these organisations as our sponsors because they all contribute towards our thriving, vibrant community and they attract residents to the area from all over.

The Livingston Centre is a 20 minute walk and buses run from Livingston South Railway Station to Livingston Centre where the main bus centre for Livingston is located.

The train service at Livingston South links Edinburgh Waverley and Glasgow Central on the Shotts line.  Edinburgh International Airport is only a 20 minute drive from Murieston and we are close to the M8 motorway. This offers commuting distance to Edinburgh, Glasgow and Fife.  An hour in the car in either direction will get you to the East or West Coasts of Scotland or Perth in the North and Peebles in the Scottish Borders.
