Our annual Litter Pick and Cleanup with Murieston Environment Group was on Sunday 24 April.
We filled approximately 65 black bags, and also recovered two shopping trolleys, several large fence posts and a couple of roadwork signs, which pretty much filled the Council’s NETs team 3.5 tonne van.
We would like to thank everyone who took part in the Litterpick for their support, particularly the staff from McDonalds who came on their day off and in their own time, the Coop for contributing to the refreshments & those people who handed in home baking. It was a real community effort and great to see such a big turnout with so many children as well. Murieston is a much cleaner place !
