Consultation on the Provision of a New Footway at Murieston Road, Livingston

The proposed footway is in keeping with West Lothian Council’s Active Travel Plan which aims to support people walking and cycling for everyday journeys. It also provides a safe environment to avoid walking through wooded areas during the hours of darkness when walking between Bankton Centre and the residential area of Murieston Road. There have been a number of concerns raised about the change to the road width. The proposal for a footpath is currently being discussed by the Community Council.
