Murieston Development Trust

Public Meeting 15th March 2018

There is wind farm money available to benefit the community. Setting up a Murieston Development Trust would be a way of getting access to this money and spending it in the local community. We have discussed the viability of a Development Trust for Murieston and agreed to extend promotion of the concept by gaining more support from the local community. The committee have had a meeting with a representative from the Development Trust Association Scotland to gain a better understanding of the process involved and have agreed to hold a public presentation.

We Need You!

We need your support so please come along. We also need a handful of volunteers to run it and we will be identifying those individuals at the public meeting.

It is no small undertaking and community support is crucial to its conception and ongoing management. If you wish to voice your support or have strong objections, please step forward and let yourself be heard.

It is on the agenda for the next meeting. Please come along and join the discussion. Register your support or objection to a development trust below.
